Duck

My husband fed ducks and swans bread and this duck was so inpatient to get some more that it made us laughing. The duck was waving with its tale without stopping so that there is only a blur left on this photo instead of its tale.

Vrelo Bosne

It was the first day of autumn, yesterday. My husband and I took a walk through Vrelo Bosne to enjoy its natural beauty and the beautiful weather that we still have had. Vrelo Bosne is at the foothills of the Mount Igman and it is the source of the river Bosna. This place (park) consists of a number of small islands connected by wooden bridges over the little streams. There are lots of ducks and swans which are so proud of their beauty. I simply enjoy looking at them while floating on the crystal water.

Horse chestnut

Last Sunday my husband and I took a walk through Vrelo Bosne. It was a lovely and sunny day and I completely enjoyed the fresh air, the beauty of various trees all around and other vegetation, the gurgling water, the beauty of swans, goose, ducks…
I was disappointed when I realised that my camera left at home and that there was no way for me to take any photo.
The only thing I can show you from there are these horse chestnuts which I picked up from the ground while walking there. I like its smooth bark as well as its colour very much.

A little bee

I think this is a kind of a bee. It is too small; it is double smaller than a common bee I use to see on the flowers. I noticed this little bee yesterday by chance on a bloom of this herb which grows in my garden. The blossom of this herb is not bigger than the camomile’s blossom. By the way this herb is very bitter but is very healing especially if stomach aches. One can make a tea from it or just eat a fresh leaf or so. I am sorry that I don’t know the Latin name of this very useful herb.
Have a wonderful weekend!

It's nice to see this fruit after its blossom which I photographed in April but posted in June when I started with my blog.

Play of light

September started with rain and with great drop in temperature. But, it is sunny today and although it is still fresh outside everything seems to be more beautiful when sun is shining.

Climber

I was walking with my husband along Miljacka River when I saw a mountain climber on this rock. There are lots of high rocks along this part and we can often see young climbers practicing their climbing skills. I don’t enjoy looking at them doing that; I am always afraid that someone could fall down. Thanks God, it has never happened.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Bellflowers

I don’t know the name of this charming flower but I always call it “bellflower”.

Morning Glory

I was afraid that there wouldn’t be anything of this beautiful flower in my garden this year to see me off to my work every morning when all the blooms were opened in all its beauty. The reasons for that were garden snails which enjoyed in eating this lovely flower as soon as its first leaf would appear. In spite of all this morning glory somehow managed to survive. There are no as many blooms as there were last year but the beauty is the same.

Drop

Is this a rain drop or perhaps it is a tear because the end of the summer is near.
I am like a poet who once asked his friend whether to put more fire into his poems but the answer he got was: “No, you should put more of your poems into the fire”. :-)

Brother and sister

The first photo on my blog was these two cute, pretty, sweet, beautiful…. little cats. They lived in my neighbour's garden just next to my door. I loved them so much. Nothing can relax you more than cat's playing. I always enjoyed looking at them and played with them when ever I could. This photo is to the memory of the little cat on the right side of the photo. She was hit by car yesterday before I came back home from my work. I was told that she run out onto the street just in a moment when a car rush down the street. Someone didn't respect the speed limit and nobody knows who that was because the car wasn't stopped. Needles to say how much sad I am. But thanks God it wasn’t a child.
