Frozen primrose

Just when I think the weather turning out to be great it starts to snow again just like it was yesterday. This is what happened to a little primrose flower from my garden.
It is rather sunny day today and although it is cold all the snow has already gone. One day is spring and next one is winter…

Winter is hanging around here in Granby too, we will have a solid snowcover for at least another 3 weeks... maybe more!

But the picture is beautiful.
It really gives the idea about what's happening...

It is snowing this morning here as well. But this does give a pretty frost look to the flower. A delicate look, almost as if it was coated in sugar. Very nice.

My mom loves primroses, but we can't grow them well in Texas because it is too hot. Another gorgeous photo!

Hi Meda, that is the problem with spring - just when you think you have turned the corner and are heading towards summer, another cold spell hits you.
Nice shot of the frozen primrose. Looks like you will be needing the winter woolies a bit longer.

Well, I can't even get primroses to grow inside so this is amazing to me that they are even alive outside....but not now I am guessing!

Medam, you got it all, flowers and snow. Sad to see this, especially when the spring flowers are fooled to come out. Thanks for sharing, this is in fact nicely captured photo. Anna :)
