Dandelion seed head

I enjoyed puffing the fluffy dandelion seed head when I was a child …oh how fun it was counting how many puffs it took me to denude a dandelion.

Cherry blossom

It has been cloudy and rainy this week. That’s why I am posting these photos that I took last week. This beautiful blue sky and lovely blossom really make my day on this gloomy weather.

White hole

This is what the sky looked like the other evening just when the rain shower started. I found it interesting.

Landscape

These are only two of so many beautiful landscapes that can bee seen on the way to Igman mountain. By the way, Igman is a popular destination for hiking and skiing. During 1984 Winter Olympics, it was the primary mountain used for the Olympic events.

Roman Bridge II

It was lovely warm and sunny day yesterday so my husband and I decided to spend some time in nature. Our destination was Igman Mountain but on our way to up there we stopped by Roman Bridge to take a walk for awhile. These are some of the photos that I took from there.

Roman Bridge

The Rimski Most („Roman Bridge“) over the Bosna river was built in the 16th century. It can bee seen from the main road that leads to the entrance of Sarajevo from its west side.
The bridge is about 40 metres long and 4, 5 metres wide and it has 7 archs. There is assumption that there was once a bridge at the same place during Romans Empire and that today's bridge was built on the same foundation of the previous one by Ottoman's builders using Roman stones that were left there. But that still hasn't been proved. Hence it is said that this bridge bridging the space and the time.
I took this photo on Friday afternoon through the car window, again. I am sorry that my husband wasn’t able to stop the car for me to take more photos. There were several horses around there but I managed to catch only one of them. Yet I can be satisfied with this photo because I took it while the car was in speed. I didn’t notice the couple on the bridge until I saw the photo on my computer.
Please, click on the photo to see more details! :-)

Cloudy sky

I took these photos yesterday late afternoon.
In the distance you can see one of our TV transmitters.

Isn’t this cloud somehow dragonish?

Little hearts

I don’t know the real name of this beautiful plant which grows in my mother’s garden, but isn’t its blossoms look just like little hearts?

Pink Pelargonia

I took this photo the other day in my office. A friend of mine brought a few branches for me to tray to plant them at home in my flower pot what I did yesterday. I kept this flower in the water for several days until sprouts appeared. I had never planted this flower this way earlier so I am not sure if it will be successful.

Without clouds

My husband picked me up yesterday from work and these are photos that I took on our way home. It was windy but lovely sunny day without any clouds on the sky. But, it is cloudy today.

Plum blossoms

It seemed like these lovely blossoms smiled at me yesterday while I was passing by on my way from work towards a bus stop. I didn’t have enough time to take another photo of the whole tree. I was afraid to be late on the bus.
It was sunny day yesterday but it is raining today.
