Houses at foothill

There is no any snow left; all is gone but it was windy and rainy yesterday instead. It isn’t raining at the moment but it is expected more rain by the end of the day. It is cold and grey outside so I am feeling the same somehow. As I cannot find any inspiration in such gray days I decided to post this photo that I took three mornings ago while walking down the street on my way to work. I like those houses at the foothill which look like beautiful in white and so small from the distance.

What a great photo. You have some nice scenery. And I bet you are glad that the snow has melted and spring is on it's way!

It is a neat photo. Such fine details as you click on the photo... it's as if you are transformed right into the city itself. Very nice.
It snowed last night here but this morning it is clear blue sky... I am sure it will melt today.

I agree with you:it's very difficult to find an inspiration in a grey day.
But in theese days I'm "electric",because I'm planning my next african travel:Transgalagadi National Park among South Africa,Namibia and Botswana.
Ciao

Hi Meda, your phot has a real fairy tale quality about it when it is blown up. Nice shot.
I know how you feel about gloomy weather - I can take it in small doses, then I want some sunshine.

MedaM; The houses on the hill have an airy quality like looked at from behind a veil. I like it that way. I guess come summer all this diaphonous quality will make space for shades in green.
