Seqouia gigantea
I have learnt through the internet that Seqouia gigantea – Mammoth Tree or simply Big Tree is the world’s largest tree. It grows to an average height of 50-85 m but these fantastic evergreen trees are all most gone. As they are rare today it is illegal to cut them down. Today the only Sequoia species left are Giant Sequoias in California. That’s why I am happy to know that some of those trees I have found in my country in the wood only 5 kilometers away from my home.

In the woods
Here are some of the photos that I took on Sunday afternoon while I was walking through the woods with my husband. It was variably cloudy but quite pleasant day for walking. I enjoyed the fresh air and the woods painted in reds, yellows, browns…

Light blue daisy
I want to show you these beautiful light blue daisies that grow in my garden which also can be seen almost in every other garden or in the parks over here. They really look so lovely.
I have caught a cold so I haven’t been feeling well these days. My nose is blocked and that is what is bothering me most. It is easy to catch a virus on such weather; we had a cold and rainy weekend but since yesterday our days are sunny again but quite cold in the morning and rather warm during the day.
