Longing for freedom


The grids of this cage are so thick that I barely managed to take two photos. As if these lovely birds were flies that could fly away through the grid. These peacocks looked so sad that I felt very sorry for them.
I would love if they showed their plumages in all their beauty but they obviously were not in a well mood.

their regal blue plummage is stunning...yes, i do believe they long to roam free.

Such desire in the stance of the peacock. I think my feathers would droop if I was caged like that too.

Good documentation. I hope at least the space inside the cage is not too narrow for them. Certainly, they cannot show their plumage being in that condition.

They should be free to roam the garden. They usually sleep on the highest tree and until they settle down one can hear their mournful call. We used to have a couple that came to visit from time to time and after a week or so flew back from where they came. Since we have Billy they don't like our garden anymore. He chases them off.
