Landscapes

Igman is a popular destination for hiking and skiing. During the 1984 Winter Olympics, Igman was used for the Olympic events, along with Jahorina and Bjelašnica.
These are some photos that I took on Sunday while I was enjoying the beauty of this mountain with my husband.
More photos tomorrow.

the countryside there is beautiful...now do they have farms and raise any crops or is the land used for animals?

Hi Erin, people who live in surrounding villages have their own farms. They use their own land for their crops. As for the animals, it can be seen some flocks of sheep grazing the meadows.

It really does look nice. Lots of open space. Something which I find a little difficult to come to terms with in Switzerland - development everywhere and the peaks are the only places left nowadays

That is beautiful, Medam! We don't have that in Norwich and so I am jealous.

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come back tomorrow for a new series!

Inspiring pictures. They remind me of western Canada, around the Banff area.

Interesting to know about your Olympic Games in 1984 in your kind comment and in this nice post.
This series of landscapes is really wonderful, Medam; I've enjoyed them so much. They remind me of our mountains here of Val di Susa and Val d'Aosta. :-)

Quite picturesque. Better than in a movie. Looks quite freeing.
