I love the serpentine road!

Meda, two great shots. You have to wonder why the path was not constructed as a straight line. Must have been designed by a photographer.

Truly beautiful Meda. I love the winding pathway and the wonderful stone benches to sit on and look at the city.
Fantastick banner picture too. Beautiful detail of the flower.

Lara, this is a view of one of Sarajevo's settlement which is about 7 kilometres away from the centre of the city.Lara, I am always happy to see your comment on my blog. Thank you for that.:-)

Shaun, my husband and I enjoy long walks so it wasn’t hard for us to climb up this winding pathway especially on lovely day like it was on last Sunday. Thanks for your visiting and for your comment Shaun; I do appreciate it a lot.:-)

I would like to take this opportunity to say that I am also thankful to all my blogging friends for the visiting and nice comments. That means me a lot. :-)

It's a long way to go up there! Wonderful landscape in which I see a great contrast between the small houses and the series of skyscrapers!

Wow - that is almost like the road in Norway, called "Trollstigen"!

Love the contrast in the two photos. The old road and the farm - and then when you turn - there is the modern, urban town in the horizon! And the ruins of and old house in front! Beautiful captured! Symbolic.

That road reminds mom of a road in San Francisco!
