Poetry in motion

Last weekend my husband and I went for a walk on a nearby hill called Čavljak. It was beautiful sunny and warm day. There were lots of rose hip shrubs loaded with its lovely red fruits. While we were picking useful rose hips we suddenly heard the sound of thud of horses' hooves. Then I saw four horses that galloped off at a distance of about ten meters away from us. I grabbed my camera and managed to take a shot of another three horses galloping down the slope following the first four ones. They were kept themselves around for a while and I took more several photos of them. Photos are not of good quality but I still want to share them with you because these beautiful animals made my day even more beautiful.

And Allah took a handful of southerly wind, blew His breath over it, and created the horse.... Thou shall fly without wings, and conquer without any sword. Oh, horse. ~Bedouin Legend

Wonderful weekend to all!

Grand and Marvelous come to mind, also Magnificent on the 4th one down, the one of the horses walking in a line under the tree. I enlarged all of them, I think they are wonderful shots. Wild Horses running free, I would love to see them, but your photos are next best.

Medam, no no, these are amazing images, just think of them being landscape photos since you didn't get them close enough. Excellent work, I wish I could see them in the wild like that, all we have here, they just stand around and eat with the heads down. Anna :)

PS I don't know if I will be able to get through my post replies soon, but I wanted to mention, lol, may be you should offer leafs of parsley on the bus to get rid of the garlic smell, lol. Parsley works well, any type of food with garlic, I make sure I have parsley around.

Beautifully captured. I can see their magnificent strength and they do look like they are dancing on the wind.
The Bedouin legend about the horse being created is beautiful.
