Fantastic, glistening blues, luminous and changeable like a summer sky.
from a tiny, crooked looking corm comes this beauty, a real wonder!

Meda, I positively revel in the beauty of your photos. Again, you capture the very soul of the anemone.

I have ONE purple anemone which decided to bloom now, too. Seems kind of late! Yours are so lovely. I love the detail of your macros.

Re the borage - it is an herb, so you should be able to get some seeds. Then it will reseed itself, thousands of times over. The flowers and the young leaves are edible. I like the colour the flowers bring to a salad.
PS It was lovely to look at this post again!

This deep blue is gorgeous and is so special in flowers. You just don't see that many blue flowers around. These are stunning

I think this is my most favorite color. Your photos are beautiful. Thank you so much for stopping by a little while ago and leaving your very kind comments on my raccoon post. She hasn't returned yet but I am forever hopeful.

Nice shots Meda. I find it difficult to photograph blue flowers. They are always washed out.
