Beautiful shot MEDA, and the flowers smell is so delicious Greetings, Joop
I wish you had some way to include a scratch and sniff button or the sweet perfume in your post. I have always loved the sweet summer smell of honeysuckle. it continues to amaze me when i see flowers that are common here in your country. i am so glad i get to see your country through your eyes and you can see mine. do you have night blooming jasmine also? it smells as good as the honeysuckle.
Oh, what does the sweetness of the Honysuckle evoke, wonderful summers, lazy days in the hammock, dreaming!
One of my all time favorites, I can smell it all the way from sunny Southern California, USA!http://lisapetrarca.blogspot.com
A pretty flower series. I really like the third shot.
I can smell the sweet fragrance of the Honeysuckle from here. Terrific pictures and great closeups.
The smell of honeysuckle is the smell of summer. Unfortunately, here in Northwest Florida, this is considered an invasive species and we are discouraged from growing it in our home gardens. The red honeysuckle is what we can grow. Beautiful, but unfortunately, it has no fragrance.
The Japanese honeysuckle in your photos is my favorite, it has a wonderful scent. I have a large bush in my garden. The macro shot in your header is gorgeous.
Very fine images of the Honeysuckle! A delightful post!
Oh how I remember these flowers as a little girl. What wonderful memories and you have captured them here in such pretty photos! It has been a while since I been around! 'Tis a shame. Hope all is well.Hug♥
