Trumpet flower

I took these photos last night except the last one that I took this morning when the temperature outside was -1C°. It is getting colder and colder especially in the morning and evening so I’ll have to find some warmer place for this flower until spring next year. Last winter I kept it in the shed. By the way Trumpet flowers contain high levels of poison. I was unpleasantly surprised when I found that information. More about it you can read here.

Harvest

It was my husband who took the photos above. Saturday was lovely sunny day and I found it’s time for the apple harvest. I loved to climb on trees as a child and I still love it. This time I used the ladder because the apple tree is too old and its branches could break easily. While I was enjoying in picking apples my husband had some fun taking photos of me.

Some of my blogging friends asked me which camera and which lens I use especially for taking macro photos. I use Nikon D 60 which I got in February of this year as a birthday gift from my husband. The lens is AF-S NIKKOR 18-55 mm.
