Harvest

It was my husband who took the photos above. Saturday was lovely sunny day and I found it’s time for the apple harvest. I loved to climb on trees as a child and I still love it. This time I used the ladder because the apple tree is too old and its branches could break easily. While I was enjoying in picking apples my husband had some fun taking photos of me.

So nice to see someone picking the apples from the appletree! Sad enough, in Oslo I often see the apples go to waste, the owners just let them fall to the ground. I wish they could put up a sign telling people walking by, to come and pick!

Fun shots of you picking!

You look so dreamy holding a lovely basket on your arms, Meda:) Love this photo-collage very much. Lucky you coming from childhood climbing on trees. As for myself, being born and grown in a metropole, I had no chance to see lush greens as well as picking fruits and filling up my baskets.

Apple my most fave fruit, I'm curious how taste does it give a Saraybosna* grown apple?

(*)Saraybosna in turkish is Sarajevo.

Wonderful, the lovely apple picking lady in the tree. Memories must have come flooding back while reaching for the ripest apple.
