The White fort

Bijela tabija, in English the White fort is an old fort overlooking the historic core of Sarajevo. It is a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is supposed that it was built at the site of a medieval fortress, built around 1550 year. The upper part of Fort, built of the big stone blocks, was set in the Austro-Hungarian period.

Rotten apples

I took these photos on last Saturday. These apples (whatever remained of them) resisted to the wind and rain and snow. Two of them look like made of paper.

At a tram stop

There is nothing interesting on this photo but this man that attracted my attention. What I found interesting was a little copper coffee pot and a coffee cup by his right hand side. That is really unusual scene. He probably ordered it from the nearby cafe. I've never seen anybody drinking coffee at such a place.

Vrelo Bosne/Spring of Bosna

Vrelo Bosne is a spring and beautifully green park at the source of the River Bosna only twelve kilometers southwest of Sarajevo.
I enjoy walking in this park with my husband when ever we have spare time. It is beautiful even in winter.
