Bajram Holiday
This month is almost full of wonderful holidays: Islamic Bajram, Jewish Hanukah, Catholic Christmas, New Year except of Orthodox Christmas which is on 7th January.
My country is multinational and multicultural country and Sarajevo is the centre of various religions and cultures. My city is decorated because of all these holidays. Since I grew up in the circles like this, all these holidays are familiar and dear to me.
This photo is according to my holiday Bajram which started today. It last four days.
My friends, no matter what religion they are, never forget my holidays and I never forget theirs. Thanks God, nothing could spoil our friendship. I didn’t work today and I spent my time with my family, with many relatives and friends. It was nice but also sad because of those dear persons who I miss very much especially on these days.

Beautiful photo and even more beautiful thoughts. Peace be with you in this holiday season...
Thank you, Wolfgang, I do appreciate your comment! May peace be with you too now and always!
Thank you for the nice comment on my blog. This is a beautiful picture. Is the building a Mosque? I love the lighting.
Error
Big error, the Christmas of Orthodoxe Christians of is 25 December, 7 January is the Christmas, a small portion of Orthodoxe Christians, that observes the old timetable.
That has difference with the present, 14 days roughly.
This timetable observing at all the duration of year, and all the feasts go behind 14 days.
I love the color contrast of the deep yellow with the snow.
Very nice
First time visiting your blog will have a look around.
This is a pretty picture and your words were so beautifully said. I love the way you speak from the heart...

That looks very magical. I'm sure you'll have a beautiful Christmas.
Please forgive me if my visit to you blog in the next couple of weeks will be slightly intermittent, as I am home in Manila spending some lovely time with my closest and dearest, while basking in the sun. Your visits to my blog/s, however, are much appreciated!

Medam this is such a lovely photograph, the illumination of colored object on almost black and white forground (in front). Yes you are right many holidays now, and respect for each other's religion is very important. Nice photo again, Anna :)

Thank you all my dear blogger friends for your nice comments on this post. I appreciate it a lot.
I would also like to thanks to lilli & nevada who visited my blog for the first time. Thank you for that and for your comments. I’ll visit your blog as soon as I have more time.
Hi Kostas,
Orthodox Christians in my country really celebrate their Christmas every year on 7 January. It’s been like that since I know for myself. I know that our Serbs celebrate Christmas according to the old Julian calendar but not to the Gregorian calendar. That’s why they don’t celebrate the holiday 13 or 14 days earlier.
Thanks for your comment and Marry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Hi Jim, I owe you an answer to your question. You are right, this building is one of the mosque in my city which is built in 1561.
Beautiful picture!
Have a happy Holiday season!
Thanks Medam for visiting throughout this year, I wish you and your family Happy Holidays and a great and prosperous new year!
Livio.
Medam, hello again. Things get little busy during Christmas holiday, as I tend to spend more time with family. So I don't miss this opportunity, I would like to thank you for visiting my blog, I know it has not been very long since we found each others blogs, but it feels like it has. I also want to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2008, all the best. Anna :)
Happy Holidays and best wishes for a great New Year.
Enjoy your family and friends at this time of reflection.
