Your pictures really make me want to visit.

Very fine photographs. It must have been a clear day, I see the sky so blue, a great light, the sharp white clouds.

Hi Medam! I remember seeing it in Mostar, under the old bridge; the old one, not the reconstructed. It was wonderful!!

The Republic of Uzupis. Never heard? Blogtrotter has it for you… ;) Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Hi Trotter, this bridge is located in Konjic which is about 60-70 kilometres away from Mostar. The bridge was built in 1682 during the Ottoman Empire and it had been destroyed during the withdrawal of the German Army in 1945. Its reconstruction was finished recently.

One of the most beautiful areas in Europe. Just saw recently the rebuild 0ld Bridge in Mostar. What an awful time it was. I hope there will be for ever peace, and nothing like that happens again.
