Last Thursday my husband and I spent late afternoon in the company of our good friends.
We had a wonderful time in the garden of their cottage which is only one hour drives by car from our home. They have a tall cherry tree in the garden so our friend climbed up the tree and picked a plastic bag of sweet and so tasty cherries for us.

I kept thinking Anton Chekhov when I saw this. It's lucky that your good friend didn't fall out of the tree! Those cherries look delectable. Beautiful photography.
You had a wonderful time indeed! I love cherries and I'd like to plant a tree in my garden. Beautiful photos.
How wonderful to have cherries straight from the tree, especially if they have not been sprayed.
Glad you had such a wonderful time.

The cherries in this part of our state are ripe and very sweet this year. But they are so much better fresh from the tree, those look so good. Great photos.
Oh yummy cherries. They look so delectable. I have not eaten fresh cherries for a long time. Glad for you to have friends with a cherry tree.Lovely pics too.
Oh yes, I love cherries too! But they are expensive in the supermarts here. We do not grow them in Malaysia.
the deep red looks like a grape almost...this was fun I can tell and what a nice reward!
Nothing like cherries right from the tree. Oh now I need to eat some Medam. Anna :)
This year has been fabulous for the cherries here in Portugal! I just adore...
