Sweet cherries

Last Thursday my husband and I spent late afternoon in the company of our good friends.
We had a wonderful time in the garden of their cottage which is only one hour drives by car from our home. They have a tall cherry tree in the garden so our friend climbed up the tree and picked a plastic bag of sweet and so tasty cherries for us.

Our friend in action! We supported him from the ground. :-)

I kept thinking Anton Chekhov when I saw this. It's lucky that your good friend didn't fall out of the tree! Those cherries look delectable. Beautiful photography.

How wonderful to have cherries straight from the tree, especially if they have not been sprayed.
Glad you had such a wonderful time.

The cherries in this part of our state are ripe and very sweet this year. But they are so much better fresh from the tree, those look so good. Great photos.

Oh yes, I love cherries too! But they are expensive in the supermarts here. We do not grow them in Malaysia.
