Massive stone houses and walls which have survived many generations. What is it about stone that makes it so aesthetic. It is great to see new additions, lovely, simple doors and wrought iron gates all fitting in beautifully. When enlarging the pictures one can see the stone work, how it is done in a practical manner to use small stones to fit in-between and also all shapes and sizes. It is such a beautiful place.
