Travnik

On Saturday afternoon my husband and I went to Travnik. It is a beautiful city, 90 km away from Sarajevo. On that occasion we visited a wonderful fortress which is the only one saved medieval monument. Fortress becoming today’s old town sector, called “Stari Grad” (Kaštel). It was built at the beginning of XV century and it is not known for exactly who was the builder but supposedly that happened during the time of one of the Bosnian’s king Ostoja or maybe the kind Tvrtko II.
On this photo you can see the beautiful view that I took from the fortress.

Wow. This is an incredible view of the city or village. I really admire those who can get to villages like this one. The views must be stunning.

Beautiful view from that fabulous fortress. Nice pictures. I like the water wheel photo too. The cool water and the gurgling sound would be a peaceful way to enjoy lunch.
