I didn't have to post anything new for yesterday. I could only go into my archive to see if there was anything interesting to show you, but I didn't feel like rummaging through it. Days are too short; it grows dark almost at 5 pm. Where to find some inspiration when most of it I find outside.
Last night I took this old encyclopedia to find something interesting to read when I came across to this pressed flowers which I left there, only God knows when because I completely forgot to it. Just when I thought there wouldn’t be anything for me to post today I found this as an interesting subject for photographing and to tell you that this edition of encyclopedia came out in 1959. It was written in Cyrillic.

That's really pretty! I used to have pressed flowers as a hobby when I was younger. They're beautiful.
Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo. May I invite you to visit my other blogs Your Love Coach and The Goddess In You? Please share your thoughts about these two.
Have a great day!

nice play, and nice feeling to bump into things you forgot about... I must admit thou, I am really glad when I find some money in a pocket or in a bag that I didn't check in a long time :)).
Nice work, and thank you for the wishes,
That is really nice, I used to do that long time ago. And sometimes now. I have also set of dried flowers from my overseas friend (long time gone), she used to sent them to me in the letters. Thanks for a very nice reminder. Anna :)
Ever I did'nt press the flowers into the books, but when my son bored I pressed the whole daily newspaper between the pages of a big book. Today I check it. Newspaper still is there and passed 27 years yet. Thanks to remembered me this act.
Have a nice Sunday.

Oh Medam, this really touches me. I have pressed and dried many pansies myself. And finding these by surprise must have been such a treat. Thank you for sharing. And I think the shadows are good symbols too, of the past.

Isn't it fun to find something so precious unexpectedly? It conjures up in my mind all sorts of stories to explain who put it there and why.
Great pictures, especially the last one. I like how you used your shadow to "hold" the flowers. Very clever.
Very nice to find something hidden away..I am with Lara...love to find that extra money in a pocket! Your post is great.
Very neat shots....and your "close up" is amazing! Love the shadow too!
Love that top photo! It really evokes an emotion -- which they say is the photographer's goal... What a find! What an element of time!
