Flock of birds

There is now snow in my city any more; all was melt after the rain we had had for a few days. Only the mountains, which surround the city, have still been covered with the snow. But now, it is really freezing outside. It was 6°C bellow the zero this morning. It is warmer now. There are -5, 5° C now. :-))
A huge flock of birds in the air attracted my attention yesterday late afternoon. My camera couldn’t capture all the flock. That sight was interesting to me and I wondered if there had any sign in it.

Tom Cat Cicko

This is my neighbour’s old tom cat Cicko. When ever he sees me or hear my voice he comes to make me company. He knows he will always get something to eat and to be fondled what he likes the most. But he doesn’t like camera at all. So many times I have tried to capture him in more interesting pose but have never managed it because as soon as I take my camera he starts getting itself tangled in my feet. If only I could manage to take a photo while he is standing on his back paws trying to open the door of my home. Even on this photo he ignores me; pretended not hearing me cooling his name.

Lost white feather

No matter of this cold weather this lovely flower from my flower pot has still been almost full in blossom. Only after having taken its photo yesterday I noticed a little, so little white feather which can be seen at the bottom of right corner of the photo. I saw it as a good subject to take a macro photo.

Fog in my city

The temperature got higher a few days ago (it was about +7◦ C today) what caused melting the snow. Once white snow is now getting more and more dirty. It is slightly foggy but we also have had a little sun during the day. The night photo was taken last night and the day photo was taken this afternoon.

How do you call this fruit in your language? We say “nar” or “šipak”. We also say “šipak” for the rose hip but I really don’t know why.

Spiteful Rose

It has still been withstanding the ravages of time.

Little bug

There's no way and time for this little rose bud to blossom out this year. It will nip in the bud because of this strange weather that change every now and then. The temperature is either below the zero or some degrees above it; either rain or snow turns by. Even the flora itself is confused with such weather.
The other day I posted yellow rose photos. I will show you tomorrow how it looked like yesterday, on Sunday.

Night visitor

Last night I noticed a cat in my garden observing something with great curios. I had to see what that was.

It was a little hedgehog probably looking for food. I quickly went into the house and grabbed my camera. I had to get myself below a rose bush in order to take a photo. I took many of them but there was only one I could say that it turned out well. My sons went out to see „where was burning“ :-) and saw me in my trying to take a photo of hedgehog and they were laughing at me. They found it so strange and funny.

Fallen leaves

These fallen leaves look like a golden carpet. The trees are still full of yellow leaves no matter how many have already fallen.

Embrace

A little fir looks like in embrace with this old but elegant birch which yellow leaves decorated fir’s branches like a Christmas tree.

This rose from my flower-pot still overcomes the time. I took this photo on Sunday late afternoon.

Colored garden

Thank you my dear bloggers for your comments on my previous photos. Honestly I didn’t hope you would find them interesting.

Friday was sunny day in Sarajevo. After several rainy days sun finally found its way through heavy clouds. Well, it was cloudy today again but without rain. I finally took the opportunity to take some photos of beautiful fall’s colors. This is one of them; a garden right across of my house. Nobody lives there any more. There was an old house there which was demolished by new owner who bought the house with the backyard from our old neighbors.

Crvenkapica

I mostly rely on public transportation on my way to work and back to home. But, always have to walk some distance to reach my destination.
This photo I took on 31 Oct on my way home when suddenly I saw my work colleague in the middle of the traffic jam in his Polo which he calls “Crvenkapica”. That means Little Red Riding Hood. He is the one who keeps sea shells in his car ash-tray. I didn’t have much time to prepare my camera on time so the photos are not as clear as I would like them to be but I like them anyway.
