Loyal horse

From this place people can take a ride in this horse coach along 3 km long tree-lined path which leads to Vrelo Bosne, the source of the Bosnia River. That is the popular destination for locals and other tourists who wish to enjoy the nature.
I took this photo on Saturday afternoon. I wondered who a coachman expected to drive in his coach on that cold day. By the way, I couldn’t see a coachman at all; he was probably warming himself in some of nearby cafes while his poor horse was waiting for him obediently and patiently.

At least his horse seems to be well fed, unlike other carriage horses I've seen...

if the horses are well taken care of, it's OK. the ones in Austria, by the Stephansdom, are beautiful!

It's a beautiful horse coach and if it was a little warmer, I would probably go for a ride. I love the horse.

That is a beautiful winter photo! It looks very cold where you live. We are having very warm weather in Texas this week. Thaks for visiting my blog!

Wow, that looks very romantic. But I am not sure the horse feels the same way. He looks cold.

Happy 2008, Medam! How are you?

There is something so romantic about a carriage ride. It would be fun if I was all bundled up and going with my hubby.
It looks like the horse does have a blanket on. Pretty cold.
