Sunday afternoon

It’s been nice weather lately. The temperature of the air is about 2°C in the morning and about 12°C in the afternoon. Well, it is unusual for this time of the year when we use to have quite amount of snow and lower temperature but the weather is strange everywhere around the world. It was sunny yesterday and it seemed there was no fog at all but we were wrong.
So my husband and I found ourselves at a fortress called “Žuta tabija” (The Yellow Garrison). It was one of the bastions of the defenders during the battles with the Austro-Hungarian troops in 1878.
When we looked down on the city we saw it foggy but we still enjoyed a beautiful view of Sarajevo that extends from this place.
This is the place where one can find his/hers moment of isolation to have a rest soul.
Please, don't forget to enlarge the photos! :-)

The view of the city is amazing.
I love the shapes of the trees, they look like they are still protecting the fortress and in the last shot, It looks so peaceful place to be up there looking over Sarajevo.
A beautiful set of photographs.

Hi MedaM, the picture of Sarajevo in the mist is stuning. We habe an old fort in our city which I have been trying to visit for years. Even though the sign gives the opening times it is always closed when I go there - very frustrating.

The photos are fantastic Medam! One of these days I shall pay your country a visit. I wonder if I need a visa to go there...
