Kadifa

This morning arrived with firs snow; too early for this time of the year. Although I love snow I wasn't delighted to see the snow blanket when I woke up this morning. It is cold outside (0°C) and I would say I am not in a well mood today.
This photo I took only the other day. The photo is full of light and sun. It makes me feeling better and comfortable while looking at the velvet petals and the warm colours of this beautiful flower that we call Kadifa.
Please, click on the photo to enlarge it.

Hope it won't last long. My friend in Colorado said they had 6 inches of it on the weekend. What strange weather we've had this autumn.

Yes Ruth, it really is strange. Our summer also was strange with its tropic temperature that we had. The weather forecast says it will be like this until Thursday.

So you had snow while we had a superb Indian Summer. It's going to last till tonight, for tomorrow the forecast calls for rain and 11º, snow still far off.
Nice dof in your photo!

Beautiful yellow flower. I like the angle which shows the variety of textures and colors.
You are right, its too early for snow. Look at your bright happy flower and smile.
